Product Overview
The steel cord conveyor belt uses longitudinally arranged, galvanised steel cords as the tension member, bonded into a high-adhesion core rubber and protected by specially compounded covers. Because the cords carry the load, the belt keeps an extremely low elongation under tension and can run over very long centres and high lifts with a minimum number of transfer points.
MWin controls the whole process in-house: cord selection and pitch, core rubber adhesion, cover compound formulation and vulcanization. Every coil is tested for cord adhesion, cover tensile and abrasion before it leaves the plant, and a test certificate is issued with each shipment.
